Steaphen Fick We will be celebrating 25 years of swordfighting. I started teaching swordfighting in my backyard in July of 2000. We were working with home made longswords built from Japanese bamboo swords called Shinai. Over the years we have moved through several spaces because we outgrew where we were training, and each space was better than the last. On May 17 from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM we will be open and celebrating. We will have a taco truck here for a couple of hours, we will have swordfighting demonstrations to watch and lessons that adults and children can participate in. We will have games for children to play, and activities for adults to try like javelin throwing, sword and shield lessons, longsword lessons, and more.
